Consent Mode v2 for sites with German traffic
Consent Mode v2 is not optional if you use Google Ads or GA4 in the EU. Signals ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage must start denied and update after consent.
Correct order: CMP (Consentio) → then GTM/gtag. If the container fires first, tags already loaded.
In Germany this pairs with TTDSG: Consent Mode alone does not replace technical script blocking. Use Consentio Free or Pro and the GTM Consent Mode guide.
